We are currently working to bring teledentistry to our practice to make it easier for you to take care of simple issues by secure chat on your phone or tablet. We are also working on mobile dental services so we can do screenings and even simple procedures outside our clinic. We want to make it easier for you to get the services you need when you have transportation issues, or your work schedule makes it hard for you to get the care you need. Our mission is to have a healthy, happy community.

We always mourn the loss of a tooth, but our dentists are very skilled at extractions and helping you overcome that loss. We can help you make the transition to dentures. We will work with the denturist so you get a good fit prior to extraction and have your teeth as soon as possible. We do not do dental implants, but we can do partials or bridges for limited extractions.

Our New Dentist
Meet Dr. AJ Donick
Dr. AJ Donick grew up in northwestern Pennsylvania. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Penn State University and completed his dental degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo. After dental school, he attended an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Idaho State University, where he expanded his skills in the practice of dentistry. Dr. Donick is married to his wife Hilary, a veterinarian, also from Pennsylvania, and they have a new baby. AJ and Hilary decided they wanted to return to Eastern Oregon and contacted South County Health District. We could not believe our good fortune! They will be here in April and are projecting Dr. Donick's first day at the Union Family Dental Clinic to be April 17th. He brings with him several years of experience and a great love for our special piece of Eastern Oregon. He worked at the Elgin Dental Clinc and has a special interest in Community dental services. He is excited to bring his skill and experience to the Union Family Dental Clinic and help us expand our services to the residents of our health district.
Dr. Mary Harrell, will be on leave for a few months and plans to return when our mobile dentistry outreach is ready to launch. Dr. Harrell has worked for community dental clinics for several decades and is extremely knowledgeable. She is excited about spearheading our expansion into the new technology of teledentistry and mobile dentistry.
